Data Bases: OrthoWave™ V6 displays easy windows, with logical and hierarchic layout of fields and buttons Data entry, facilitated by drop down lists, pre-designed items and short cuts, can be done either directly or through any optical reader gear. All items inputted in a specific language, are automatically translated into any other selected language, to allow international multi center studies… V6 provides one form per patient, and a sub-form per prosthetic component, which is mandatory for partial revision surgery to build in consistent survivorship analyses. Multicriteria Search engine allows for any kind of selection and sub-selection of criteria, including the customized items.
High level of customization: Through the “Administrator” section, one can easily format the various parts of the database, and select the preferred options to be displayed (clinical evaluations), as well as shortcuts and links, to tailor any kind of User’s preferences. In addition, custom windows and evaluations can be added, comprising 2x100 items that are automatically linked to Statistics and Multicriteria Search. New windows and sections can be later on developed upon request.
'“Own your own data!...” : Data are protected by three levels of passwords, and hosted by a secured Company, in order to fulfill legal requirements in terms of Privacy. Automatic reports can be generated under “full” or anonymous modes. Import of demographics, as well as Export of data and clinical results can be easily done to link OrthoWave™ to other databases or softwares so as to communicate through an “open system”… Furthermore, OrthoWave features a unique concept which allows exporting anonymously any Arthroplasty form from any “Regular DataBase” (RDBs) to linked “virtual Scientific DataBases” (SDBs) so as to analyze results of particular studies while preserving the privacy of both Patients and medical Staff…This procedure of dynamic linkage between these two varieties of Data Bases is absolutely new and tailors at best the ''Do needs'' of scientific studies, enabling share of specific forms devoted to multicentric series, whilst securing total privacy of databases from which these forms are extracted...
